Removal and disposal of artificial mineral fibres (AMF) acc. to TRGS 521
During the removal and disposal of artificial mineral fibres (AMF) and fibre waste specific safety measures are required to avoid a release of fibres and thus to prevent dangers for humans and the environment.
This waste is classed as particularly hazardous. The TRGS 521 describes technical and organizational measures relating to removal and disposal.
We possess the necessary certification.
The artificial mineral fibres (AMF) are generally contained in mineral wool and used in buildings as protection against noise, heat and fire, e. g.
- facades
- interior walls/walls made of lightweight construction panels
- acoustic ceilings
- sound insulation
- plaster containing mineral fibres
- floors in roof extensions
- pipe insulations
- heat insulation in roller shutter boxes
- sprayed insulation
