Aufbau der Seilsäge (Zirkelsäge) Wire sawing and core drillings

In the municipal sewer system of Cologne cross-cuts up to a diameter of 2.10 m were constructed from the main sewer (dia. 3.60 m) to other sewers running in parallel by means of wire sawing and core drilling operations.

5 locks from Friedrichsfeld to Datteln

286 m deep drillings down to a depth of 18.50 m in reinforced concrete were carried out by us on 5 locks from Friedrichsfeld to Datteln. The cores had to be precisely marked and were submitted to a laboratory afterwards to be tested for pressure resistance. Each core was packed separately embedded in a wooden box together with the protocol related thereto.

Extensive concrete drilling and sawing works as well as concrete demolition works were executed.
A ramp made of reinforced concrete was sawn free at the lateral connections and hydraulically blasted asunder. The size of the ramp was 5.95 x 5.35 m up to a concrete thickness of 0.95 m. It took 3 days to do this and 3 skilled workers were needed to carry out these works incl. the removal of material from the second lower ground floor as well as 20 m³ soil.
The complete reinforcement over a surface of 20 m² and down to a depth of 0.30 m was exposed. Furthermore reinforced concrete and masonry were manually dismantled due to lack of space needed for big construction machinery.

Folie mit Querkraftdollen und Bewehrungsanker Herrentunnel in Lübeck - Northern and Southern tubes

Here we received a new order requiring that we should drill approx. 10,000 core holes in tubbing segments of the tunnel, DN = 35 mm down to a depth of approx. 200 mm. Later on we built in shear force pins which had to be precisely aligned, they would then be used for the suspension of the impact wall which would be concreted on the completion of our works.

In the run-up to this project first of all approx. 15,000 m² corrugated foil were mounted and adjusted to the tubbing wall up to a height of 4.5 m, the foils had to be applied exactly against the tubbing wall.

Moreover concrete sawing works and drilling works were still carried out in the course of the tunnel construction works.

20,000 core holes in the Weser Tunnel

On 19.01.03 the Wesel Tunnel at Dedesdorf near Bremerhaven was opened by Mr Manfred Stolpe, then Federal Minister of Transport. .

Our order was worth approx. 300,000.- €. Approx. 20,000 core holes, dia. = 32 mm, had to be drilled in the tunnel walls for the mounting of impact walls. Subsequently the approx. 20,000 shear force pins were glued into these carottage openings. The tensile testings required were carried out under our direction as well.

Moreover we installed 25,000 m² special corrugated foil on the tubular walls in an elaborate way (to ensure the evacuation of the condensation water along the tunnel walls.)
