Cutting of cast iron pipes

A major order to cut the fitting pieces of cast iron pipes DN 2000 mm, wall thickness 22.5 mm cast, 9 mm cement lining and external insulation.

The pipes had to be cut 100 % straight and at right angles. After that a 45° phase was applied to the cutting edge. Each day 5 complete pipes were completely processed. 130 fitting pieces were cut. 1 pipe weighed 13 tonnes.
