Disassembly and disposal of a passenger plane

A new exciting incident for the Senft company in the field of recycling and disposal. We completely dismantled a passenger plane down to its individual components which were supplied to the recycling process in cooperation with a Dutch enterprise. After this successful disassembly planes in other sizes up to Boing 747 will follow.

Cutting of 130 cast iron pipes DN 2000

A major order to cut the fitting pieces of cast iron pipes DN 2000 mm, wall thickness 22.5 mm cast, 9 mm cement lining and external insulation.

The pipes had to be cut 100 % straight and at right angles. After that a 45° phase was applied to the cutting edge. Each day 5 pipes were completely processed. 130 fitting pieces were cut. 1 pipe weighed 13 tonnes.
